I see tons of photo booth owners leave lots of money on the table because they don't know how to offer upsells properly.
Wrong model
Here's how most people do it - send a brochure with their packages + potential add-ons for some extra cost i.e. an extra hour, red carpet, special backdrop etc...
Most customers don't add the extras (because why would they..) and the photo booth owner doesn't make more... Not great.
How to do it better: order bump + urgency
Every time someone selects one of your packages and they proceed to payment, add an extra step in your funnel and hit them with an "exclusive one-time offer" (something they can only get at this moment in time). Bonus points if you add a countdown timer! This create a sense of urgency in the customer's mind and they take immediate action.
Example: add a one-time VIP red carpet option for $200 (everyday price $400)
or add a Custom Neon Sign for $299 (everyday price $500)
etc...
It's easier to make more per customer once they've given you their credit card already!
The hidden gold: this will increase your LTV (lifetime value per customer) and will make your business more profitable without you doing any extra work.
